As can be seen from the chart, corneal transplants are seen more frequent among the American citizens each year. Whereas the number of intestinal transplants is the least popular. Every year, there are about 50,099 corneal transplants, which is followed by bone marrow transplants(Allogeneic and Autologous),which accounts for 21,444. The next more frequent type of transplant is kidney transplants(around 16,804). The number of transplants for the other three vital organs(lungs,heart,liver)ranges from 673 to 6158. The least transplanted organs are pancreas(136) and intestine(40).
