The job sector today is too competitive and it is common to see employers have confusions in choosing between candidates from the best universities and those from a perfect experience. People differ in their opinion regarding this topic and to determine the best way to acquire a good job is still difficult in the minds of many.

On the one hand, those who prefer a successful university education as the best possible way to acquire a reputed job project it as the most vital requirement a good employer demands. For example, most employers highlight educational qualifications such as a graduation or a post graduation in specific fields in classifieds or adverts they publish. In addition, it is a general belief that most universities have set standards of educating their students to the best to occupy themselves in their best career choices. This is evident by the selection of eligible candidates from the campuses by the multinational companies at regular intervals.

On the other hand, those who keep experience and soft skills above the university education focus mainly on the practical skills, which are considered as the cardinal requirements of any type of job. They believe most of the modern jobs are vulnerable to tougher challenges than in the past, and hence the theoretical experience alone cannot be seen as a solution in most cases. For example, in today’s competitive employment sector, it is very common to see employees have critical talents and problem-solving abilities and this is seen in a wide range of employment sectors like education, marketing and health care.

After analyzing both these views, I think both university education and practical skills related to the field are vital factors in determining a good employee.
