The area of operation of charity organizations remains a question for many, when a social section feels that it should be endemic in nature, while others orchestrate its globalization. There are valid arguments on both sides, which have to be critically analysed.

The former group suggests such organizations the indigenous operation because they believe in the principle that charity begins at home. They focus on the effectiveness of the activities since the regions are local and hence the progress is visible. Another advantage they point at is the easy identification of the necessary charity works to be done with utmost significance. For instance, when organising a charity programme for the domestic population, goals can be easily set and modifications can be periodically made with less amount of money, time and energy.

The latter, however, recommends a larger area of operation because they believe that wherever there is a need, there should be an action. The demographic pattern is uneven and they face diverse social, economic, political and environmental issues, which can be well -addressed only by international assistance. If a country faces a natural fury, such as an earthquake, the recovery can be accelerated by aids from international charity organizations. It is inhumane to turn your back from these humanitarian concerns and concentrate only on the local community.

After analysing both sides, I think the projection of the charity organizations should depend on the severity of the issue, wherever it is. Simultaneously, they should consider the home community too.
