The company you work for has decided to close the cafeteria as the staff is not using it much.You are not happy with the decision. Write a letter to the director. In your letter you should say:

How will it affect the staff.

I am writing this letter to express my deep concern about the plan of closure of the company’s cafeteria.

Since my joining in the marketing department two years ago, the cafeteria has been a nice place to hang out with colleagues at lunch and coffee breaks. Often it was used to be crowded, especially at brunch. However, there was a change in the staffing pattern of the cafeteria two months ago, which resulted in poor customer satisfaction. Neither the food is tasty enough nor the service is of superior quality and this has reduced its demand. If you are going ahead with the proposed plan of closure, the employees would lose a place of refreshment, and this can affect their moods and attitudes adversely. Instead I would suggest you to suggest you to reinstate the previous employees along with the introduction of some attractive offers in order to make the cafeteria more popular among the employees.
