In some modern societies, the rates of those who prefer to live on their own is climbing constantly. The reasons behind this trend are diverse, and I think this can fetch more positive results.

The first reason why people want to live on their own is because today, economic independence is seen as something very crucial in a person’s life. In the past, people lived in groups, which were closely interdependent. Later, the value of social relationships and personal interdependence faded, and the role of money became more prominent. This has made economic independence something more important than personal relationships. The second reason behind this trend is because of the urge of the modern man to be recognized as an individual who has a higher level of social and economic status. To be clearer, he has realized that when people around him recognize him as a person who is capable to manage life by his own, his dignity would automatically rise. Finally, the financial freedom a person enjoys when he lives by his own really makes him exceptional in any group.

Turning to the probable outcomes of such a life, I feel the aforementioned factors are true to a greater extent. This is because I feel; these make them more confident in their life and can motivate the people around them to be self-reliant and hardworking. In addition, such a life eases pressure on others, especially on the family members, and makes them feel more relaxed.

I need to admit this life has some flaws, especially when a person is at risk when he is left alone in an emergency situation. However, this occurs in rare cases.

To conclude, people choose to live by own foreseeing the visible benefits, and this is of course true in most cases, however there are some exceptional cases, which makes it vulnerable.
