Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– What do you usually do at the weekends?
– Do you prefer relaxing at home or going out on weekends?
– Is there anything you always try to do in your free time?
– What do you do for a living?
– What is the most exciting or interesting part of your job?
– Are there any challenges in your work that you find difficult?
– When was the last time you took a holiday or vacation?
– Where did you go on that trip?
– What did you do during your time off?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe the most important decision you have had to make in your life. You should say:
– what the decision was
– when you made it
– why it was an important or difficult decision
and explain how this decision affected your life.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do people sometimes find it difficult to make important decisions?
– What factors influence people when they make major life decisions?
– Do you think young people make better decisions than older people, or vice versa?
– How does advertising or branding influence people’s decisions?
– Do brands affect people’s choices more than quality or price?
