Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your name?
– Where are you from?
– Do you like watching sports?
– Which sport do you enjoy watching the most?
– How often do you watch sports events?
– Which sport is the most popular in your country?
– Why do you think people enjoy it?
– How do you usually spend your free time?
– Has the way you spend your free time changed over the years?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe the greatest invention you know. You should say:

– what the invention is
– when you first learned about it
– how it is used

and explain why you think it is such an important invention.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– How do inventions change people’s daily lives?
– What qualities do inventors need to have?
– Which inventions do you think have had the biggest impact on society?
– Do you think modern inventions make life easier or more complicated?
– How can governments support innovation?
– What inventions do you think we will see in the future?
