Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you enjoy growing plants?
– Have you ever grown any plants at home?
– Where did you learn how to grow plants?
– Do you think it’s easy to take care of plants?
– Where do children in your country usually learn about wildlife?
– Why do you think children are interested in animals and nature?
– Did you learn about animals when you were a child?
– Do you think people nowadays spend enough time in nature?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a wild animal you would like to learn more about. You should say:
– what animal it is
– where it lives
– what you know about it so far
and explain why you would like to learn more about this animal.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why is it important to protect animals and their natural habitats?
– What challenges do people face when trying to protect wildlife?
– Why do you think some animals, like tigers or elephants, receive more attention than others?
– Should we focus on protecting all species equally?
