Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– What do you like most about your hometown?
– How long have you been living there?
– What would you like to change about your town or city?
– What did you want to be when you were a child?
– When did you decide on the job or career you have now?
– What would you like to do in the future?
– What do you usually do with things that are broken?
– Have you ever repaired something by yourself?
– Do you think people should try to repair things instead of replacing them?
– Did your parents ever teach you how to fix or repair things at home?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe one gadget you couldn’t live without. You should say:
– what the gadget is
– how you use it in your daily life
– why it is important to you
and explain why you feel you couldn’t live without it.

– What qualities or characteristics are important for an inventor to have?
