Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you work or are you a student?
– What do you like most about your job or studies?
– Where do you live now?
– What do you like about the place where you live?
– Would you like to move to a different place in the future? Why or why not?
– Have you ever been interested in space or astronomy?
– Would you like to travel to space one day? Why or why not?
– Do you think children should learn more about space in school?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a city you would like to visit for a short trip. You should say:
– what city it is
– where it is located
– what you would like to do there
and explain why you want to visit this city for a short trip.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do you think cities continue to grow so rapidly?
– What are some advantages of city development?
– What are some disadvantages of expanding cities?
– Do you think large modern cities are better to live in than smaller towns? Why?
– How should governments balance the need for development with protecting the environment?
