Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you work or are you a student?
– What do you like most about your work or studies?
– Can you describe your hometown?
– What is your favourite thing about your hometown?
– Do you think it’s beneficial to learn different languages?
– Which languages would you like to learn and why?
– How can knowing multiple languages help people in life?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe an elderly person you know who lives a happy life. You should say:
– who this person is
– where and how they live
– what makes them happy
and explain why you think they live a happy life.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Do you think many elderly people live happy lives?
– Would you say that elderly people have an important role in society? Why?
– How can technology assist older people in their daily lives?
– What are some challenges elderly people face today?
– How can communities support the well-being of elderly people?
– Do you think young and old people can learn from each other? How?
