It is opined that life in cities has far more benefits when compared to life in villages. However, I feel that living in both the areas has its own benefits, and it depends on the individuals who take it either in a positive or negative way.

Turning to the benefits of city life, the most prominent one is the swiftness it offers. To be precise, people are seen busy in one or the other activities, and these hectic schedules of city-dwellers make it distinct from a countryside life. Another positive feature the city offers is the vast variety of opportunities. Whether in the case of employment, education, health or transport, the varieties of options a city offers can hardly be compared with a village. This is one of the core reasons why city-life remains the favorite among many people.

On the other side, a sizeable proportion of people prefer to lead a life in countryside or a life which replicates it. To be clearer, the peace and serenity it offers when compared to city life help people to maintain their stress levels lower, and this secures the happiness index of a person. This can enhance their life-expectancy too. Another advantage is the real-life socialization. To explain it further, in a village life, people have a greater integrity in keeping their interpersonal relationships, and this not only happens within the families, but also with the people around.

To conclude, there are obvious benefits when a person leads a city life. The life countryside offers too has its benefits. As both are distinct in nature, it can be assumed that it depends on the individual preference.
