SAMPLE ANSWER:

Violence is perceived more among the new generation children and many parents attribute this to entertainment and leisure activities like computer games and TV programs. Such programs affect children both mentally and physically and I think solution for this is not easily approachable.

First and foremost effect of the popularity of these types of entertainment among children is that it would alter the normal intellectual development of a child. To be precise, when children are exposed to violent programs on these type of media, it would made them think in a very different way compared to their peer groups, who are not too much involved in such activities. Studies have shown that a sort of emotional numbness is seen in such students.

The second detrimental effect of such violent programs on children is related to their physiological well-being. To be clearer, children who are addicted to these programs are more vulnerable to physical injuries, such as fracture or loss of limbs, which can hamper their normal physical growth and activities.

One should understand that solving this crisis is tougher than it appears. This is because the entertainment experience which the modern children receive from such activities can hardly be replaced, and as a result, children are mostly interested to stay indoors than in the past. The second reason behind this challenge is the haplessness of parents to discipline their children beyond a certain limit.

To conclude, there are multiple problems associated with violent programs on TV and computer which can put the normal life of children at risk and the solutions for this are not so practical in nature.
