The modern man is well aware of the significance of a healthy diet. Even though he has ample opportunities to maintain an ideal diet regimen, often he fails to do so. There are two main reasons behind this, and there is no doubt that the issue can be addressed effectively.

The most prominent reason why people fail to adopt a healthy lifestyle today is because of the unavailability of healthy food. Today, most food items are commercially produced and very few are organic in nature and this is detrimental for a person’s health. The next reason is because of improper time management strategies. To be precise, the time divided for activities of priority is generally more in case of an earning member of a modern family. One might hardly get a fixed time for his food intake, and in cases he often skips a meal. The addiction to fast-food is also seen as a key reason behind this issue.

The first feasible solution which i suggest is to go organic. Farmers should be encouraged to cultivate organic crops instead of genetically modified crops. Similar steps should be adopted in areas such as poultry and dairy products. In addition, governments should be keen in educating its citizens regarding a regular timing for food consumption. At the same time, it should promote food outlets which concentrate on selling healthy food exclusively. An additional tax on popular fast-food can be also considered.

To conclude, the major contributing factors behind the inability of today’s generation to maintain a healthy diet are mainly personal and this can be solved effectively in multiple ways.
