MODEL ANSWER:
Implementing discipline in children’s life is a matter of controversy where section of people believe that it is advantageous, whereas other section opposes it strongly. Both these views have their own gravity, and hence a thorough discussion is needed before framing a plausible conclusion.

On the one hand, people who support the former statement think that by disciplining children can imbibe good moral values of life among them at an early stage which would further help to shape their future in a well-mannered way. This is a tender age where children’s can be well-taught about the rules of behavior as they are the one who are going to lead the society ultimately. They add that discipline is an excellent way to keep children’s focus on their targets and even make their vision clear towards their life.

On the other hand, people who oppose rules in children’s life think that imposing this at an early age of life might make children both psychologically and emotionally weak. There are many visible instances in which over-disciplined children became under-performers. They also believe that freedom from harsh regulations will make children more stable, swift, creative, confident and would enhance their lifestyle and vision towards life. For instance, they are free to acknowledge things by their own, and hence can learn from their mistakes which would further stable their life.

After analyzing both the viewpoints, even though discipline to an extent is necessary, I tend to say enforcing too many rules would prove detrimental in a child’s life.
