MODEL ANSWER:
It is generally seen that more and more number of adolescents involved in anti-social activities and many attribute this to lack of parental attention due to overtime work. I think this is a genuine reason, however, there are also some other important reasons behind this.

To begin, the economic pressure to meet the both ends of life compel many parents to work overtime. In such cases, compromises are made in the time they spend with their children. There are instances when they work for 10 to 14 hours a day and get themselves extremely exhausted at the end of the day. Thus it is quite natural that they get insufficient time to attend the needs and solve the problems of their children. Eventually the needs of these children remain unmet and their problems unsolved. These children may find alternatives to satisfy their needs and these alternatives are often deceptive in nature. For instance, many such children fall into the hands of anti-social lobbies which use them for illegal activities such smuggling and drug trafficking. If sufficient time was availed for parents to perfect their roles with their children, this would not have happened.

However, there are more attributing factors which persuade teenagers towards unacceptable social behaviors. One such factor is the overexposure of technology. Modern children get themselves easily addicted to violent virtual games on their smartphones or tablets. The environment in which they grow up plays another vital role in transforming them to potential catastrophic elements.

To conclude, I think though the lack of proper parental care owing to work pressure plays a cardinal role in the evolution of tender teenagers to socially hostile people, the presence of other significant factors cannot be seen insignificant.
