Overall, it is clear from the graph that influencing factors for opting career in Sydney fluctuated between the age groups.

It is clear that the most influential factor which contributed to career choice for the 20-35 age group was money, whereas this was parents in case of the 40-50 group . Around 28% of the younger age group chose their career for money, whereas 30% of the older group preferred to work because of their parents. When exactly 20% of the former group chose work because of parents, the same proportion of the latter group worked for money.

Teachers played the next vital role in deciding the career for 15 and 10% of older and younger groups respectively, whereas the proportions of career opting people is seen almost reverse in case of role model-influence (7.5 and 15%).

The least rate of Sydney-dwellers sought their jobs because of their friends in both the groups. When 5% of 20-35 group opted their career because of their friends, the rate of those from the older group was its double.
