Dear Sir,

I work as a part-time sales promoter in your company, and I am writing to intimate you my decision to resign the post to seek a full-time position at another company.

Being an international student, I decided to work with you to support myself and to fund my education. However, now that I finished my post graduation in Marketing, I would like to start a new phase in my profession.

I greatly enjoyed my time working in your company. Not only did I have an opportunity to meet new people, but also it helped me polish my communication skills, especially the speaking skills. I am also grateful to my colleagues for providing me a solid support at work.

I can continue working here for another couple of weeks. I can utilize this time the best in giving my charge to the responsible person you delegate. It was really worthy working with you. I would also appreciate a reference letter from you to my future employer.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Mark
