Dear Mrs Franklin,

 I am writing to you regarding an issue which I have been facing from my roommate at the college accommodation.

 I am a second semester Commerce post-graduate student, and my student ID card number is CM54631. I have been staying in room number 87G, at the North Block girls hostel since the beginning of this semester.

 Since I started sharing the room with an under-graduate student, after a week of my entry into hostel, I have been facing the annoyance of frequent visitors in the room. Unlike me, my roommate has a lot of friends, and they make frequent visits to the room, and in weekends, this goes on till 12 am. When visitors come, naturally they try to speak to me too, and I find myself difficult in concentrating in my studies.

 Having mentioned the problem, it would be highly appreciated if you could arrange me a single accommodation. I am ready to pay if there is an extra charge for that.
