Dear Sam,

It is my extreme pleasure to let you know that I have won first place in the regional photography competition which concluded last week.

Do you remember the incident when I got scolded by my father for stealing money from his wallet just to buy a roll of film? Gone are those days, and when I look back, it is my extreme desire which made me successful in life.

There were about 500 participants in the competition, and it took about the whole week to trim the number to just 5. I was really satisfied with my performance, and when they announced me as the winner, by 5 pm, I was stumped to get home $10,000.

The photograph was a golden chameleon’s which was catching prey. When I took the snap, there was a wind which flew a lot of leaves around, and I think this made the picture exceptional.

You won’t believe that I am invited to present this photograph at the national exhibition which is scheduled in December. I’m feeling ecstatic and I want you accompany me there at the venue. I’m pretty sure that you’ll accept my invitation and that would make my day.
