The primary advantage when no restrictions are imposed on older people for working after their retirement age is that they remain productive citizens of the nation for some more time. To be precise, the work sector can utilise the qualities of this population such as discipline, experience, dedication and hard work at least for a decade, which would be certainly positive. Turning to the older people who decide to work, the primary benefit is that they can generate more income, and make their families financially stronger. They can also expect a higher level of social dignity, which would have faded away if they would have stayed idle.

On the other hand, when there is no such restriction on older people, the worst concern is for the young people, who struggle to make their own impressions in their professional fields. In many countries, there are either a number of unemployed or underpaid youth. This situation is most likely to worsen their struggles. To explain it further, the older are experienced, and they know very well how to secure their jobs and how to earn more. The, youth, on the other hand, are inexperienced and would be desperate and demotivated in their lives.

To conclude, certainly there is a concern of unemployment and underpayment for the young generation, if older people are encouraged to work after retirement. However, in countries where these issues are not serious, the move brings more advantages.
