MODEL ANSWER:

Information about the proportion of water usage in three sectors among six areas of the world is shown in the pie charts given.

Overall, in most of the regions, the major consumption of water is attributed to the sector of agriculture. However, this is not in the case of Europe and North America where the demand of water is more in industry. The consumption of water in areas other than these areas ranges from 71 to 88%. In these regions, the next major use of water after agriculture is for domestic purposes, and this ranges from 7 to 19%. However, South East Asia is an exception in this group, where the water consumption is more in industry (12%) than in houses (7%).

Turning to Europe and North America, industrial demand for water is the highest (53 and 48%). In these regions, agricultural sector is the second biggest consumer (32 and 39%), while the domestic sector uses the least (15 and 13% respectively).
