It can be found that some avoid changes and do the same things in their lives. At the same time, there are people who always look for change, and adopt it. I believe, though people can try hard to evade any change, in the present scenario, it is not practical.

On the one side of the argument, some prefer to live an automated life, without making an effort to embrace any change, and this is because of the fear of uncertainty. For instance, in many orthodox communities, people  are not aware that changes would cause any negative result or not. Moreover, they are comfortable with what they have and how they are. Therefore, they feel safe and always look at any emerging change with an eye of suspicion.

On the other side of the argument, proponents of change in the society think it is the symbol of modernization and development. To be clearer, many people are curious about the technological advancements in the field of communication, entertainment and transportation, and are seen readily updating themselves with these progresses. They feel that the people who still use a radio or a table-top TV are those who do not live up to date and are less-civilized.

Although most changes can be welcomed as they are the parts of normal development, I feel that not all change fall in this category. For example, it would act adversely in a person who follows a controlled diet and stringent time regimen. On the other hand, a person has to make use of the technological advancements rather than hesitant to accept it.

To conclude, it is clear that most changes are irresistible. However, I feel that man has to be more rational and selective in adapting to these.
