Nowadays, the productiveness of advertisements is often questioned, while some believe they still stand tall in recognising potential customers. Despite some adverts which do not have any significant impact in customer-pulling, I believe, the performance of most advertisements is appreciable.

On the one side of the argument, the abundance of adverts is seen by some as a hindrance of advertising companies in finding the real customers. To be precise, each day, newer companies launch their products or services  advertising on media along with the existing adverts which are showcased regularly. They target the classified pages of newspapers, magazines, commercial gaps between TV programmes and commercial spaces on the internet. However, because of its increased number and similarity of presentation, most of those are left unnoticed by the people who are really targeted.

On the other side, the opponents of the aforementioned view feel that the impact of advertisement is visible in the success of every product and service in the modern market. To be clearer, the marketing strategies of the modern world are innovative and are made practical only after extensive researches. Entrepreneurs of today know exactly in which location they have to target and in what time they have to target. In different geographical locations and in different cultures their strategies of advertising vary, and these efforts are rarely seen performing below par. It is also seen that some firms advertise just to keep their brand name intact in the minds of their customers.

As evidenced by the success stories of companies and service providers, I attest that advertisements have become an inevitable tool in attracting more potential customers today.

To conclude, though there are some adverts which are often neglected by the people, it is clear that companies have not yet found an effective alternative to advertisements.
