Some people say that now is the best time in history to be living. What is your opinion about this? What other time in history would be interesting to live in?

There are people who view the present time frame as the best in the history of human life. Although it is a truth that human life is much better now, I can hardly agree with them, and if I could go back and live in some time in the past, I would definitely choose to live as the first man on the earth.

The cardinal reason why I cannot agree that we are living in the best time frame is because the world today is too complex . For example, the world is going through a stage of economic turmoil, so that not many can satisfy themselves with what they earn. Not only they are emotionally dissatisfied, but also a considerable proportion of the world’s population today is unhealthy. The final example which I can point out is the intellectual dependence of modern man to internet technology and has started becoming slaves to computers.

Despite these challenges, one needs to admit that the modern man is living in a much comfortable manner that he has never dreamt of in the past. Yet, I believe rather than enjoying these facilities in  a world full of uncertainties, life in the remote past would have given more happiness and solace to people.

The reason why I would have chosen to be the first man on the earth if I were given an option to go back and live in the history is because it is amazing to become the man who creates the history of mankind.

To conclude, though we live in an advanced time frame, the quality of our life is not as good as our previous generations, and I believe that it is the most precious boon anyone would get to start the human family tree.
