Various steps involved in the recycling of waste paper are sequentially portrayed in the given flowchart.

Overall, the process consists of six major steps which starts from the collection of waste paper and ends with the making of recycled paper.

In the first step, used paper is collected from various businesses and public paper banks. The collected paper is sorted by hand, and while doing this, the paper is graded and unusable paper is discarded.  In the next step, only the paper which is graded as good for recycling is transported to the paper mill.

The first three steps which happen in the paper mill is cleaning, pulping and removal of other substances such as staples. De-inking is the the next step following this and in the final step, the recycled, usable paper is made from this de-inked pulp making use of the paper making machine.
