The share of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar in four types of meals an average American eats is depicted in the given pie charts.

Overall, it is clear that except breakfast, all the other meals of a citizen in the USA are unhealthy.

As per the chart, most shares of sodium and saturated fat goes into a person at dinner, and this accounts for 43 and 37% respectively. Though at lesser proportions, a considerable amount of these two are ingested by an average American at lunch, and at this time, the rates are 29 and 26%.

In case of added sugar, the consumption is most through snacks, and this accounts for over two-fifth of the total share from all four types of meals (42%).The consumption of added sugar during both dinner and lunch also reaches this share.

When 14% sodium and 21% saturated fat are ingested by a US citizen through snacks, the rate of all these three nutrients consumed during breakfast falls between 14 and 16.
