Information regarding the number and genres of borrowed books from four village libraries over a period of four months in 2014 is depicted in the given line graph.

It is clear from the graph that the pattern of borrowing fluctuated, except in case of Rye slip, and the most borrowed type was fiction.

As per the graph, Rye slip lent 300 books to its members in June, which was the highest among the four. This was 50 more than Sutton Wood and 250 more than both West Eaton and Church Mount. From then, there was a steady drop in the number of books it lent to fall to just 175 books by September. In case of both West Eaton and Church Mount, there was a growth in the number of books borrowed, and this was between 50 and 150. Significant variations were noticed in the book lending pattern of Sutton Wood. It supplied the lowest number of books in August (100) and the highest in September (300).

The most favorite type of books borrowed was fiction. When over two-fifth of the total (43%) books borrowed were from this genre, almost one fifth (19%) were biography books. Around 28% of the gross lending was science and history books, (14% each), only 10% were self-help books.
