The pie charts below show the online shopping sales for retail sectors in Australia in 2010 and 2015.  Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The trends in the online retail shopping in Australia in 2015, when compared to that of 2010 are illustrated in the given pie charts.

Overall, it is clear that in both the years, electronic goods, home furnishings, food and beverages were the most sold online items.

As per the charts, in both the years, out of the total online products sold, electric and related appliances stood first. In 2010, it was 27%, whereas in 2015, it rose by 6%. In 2010, home furnishings, food and beverages together constituted 43% of the total sales, out of which 22% sales was for furnishings. However, in the latter year, the share of its sale dropped by 3%, whereas the rate of sales of food and beverages went up by one per cent.

In 2010, there were more customers for video games, but its online demand halved approximately, and was recorded at 9% in 2015. On the other hand, the sale of gift items and books went up from 7 to 11% and 4 to 7% respectively.
