MODEL ANSWER>>>
The reasons why adults in the UK attend arts events now, compared to specific time periods in the past are depicted in the given table.

Overall, desire to see a specific performer remains as the main reason why people attend these events, whereas, changes are visible in the case of other reasons over the given time period.

As per the table, 58% of the UK adults went to arts events 20 years ago. Though there was a decline in this rate in the last decade (by 3%), now it still stands top of the table, at 56.

Twenty years ago, the percentages of those who attended these events for accompanying their children and as apart of their job were 9 and 6 respectively, whereas, this rose by 6 and 4 when 10 years got advanced. Now, the rate is seen at 24 and 11 respectively.

However, the proportion of those who attended these events in special occasions or celebrations is seen declining over the past two decades, and this was from 27 to 20. The rate shrank further, and at present, it is recorded at 9.
