Dear Ms Mary Xin,
I am writing to express my interest in giving my colleagues in our department a presentation which all of them might be interested in.
The topic which I would like to present is ‘Modern Marketing Techniques’. It was the theme of the conference which I attended last week. The topic would cover all the strategies which the marketing executives adopt today to expand their sales and to be aware of developments which have been taking place in the modern market.
I have discussed the topic with some of my colleagues and they suggested that it would be beneficial if it could be presented in a formal way to all of them. I too feel what I learned was pertinent to the current transition in the marketing strategies which many of my colleagues are not up to date with.
It would be appreciated if you could allot me half an hour after the next weekend meeting of employees of our department. I will send you the outline of the presentation as soon as possible, so that you can go through it and give me any corrections or suggestions.
