You have made a reservation in a hotel for a business trip for you and your colleagues. However, you need to make some changes to your booking. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter

 

  • give details of your current booking
  • explain what changes you need to make and why
  • ask the manager to make some special arrangements for your business meetings

Dear Manager,

I am writing to request you to postpone the room reservation which we have made at your hotel.

As a part of our company’s business trip, we have booked three rooms and a suite at your hotel, ‘The Le Meridian’ between 20th and 23rd of this month. The booking ID is YT6547 and the team includes our CEO and five of my colleagues, and we were expected to reach there on 20th afternoon.

Unexpectedly, our CEO’s business partner there have got another important meeting on 22nd of this month and hence he requested to reschedule the meeting. Therefore, a decision is made to hold the meeting on 23rd of this month, two days later at your hotel itself.

As about 15 delegates are anticipated to attend the meeting, it would be better if you could arrange it in a conference hall. It would be also appreciable if you could arrange a high definition projector and a remote-controlled audio system.
