The world is witnessing tremendous progress in the field of space research and holidaying in space is expected to become popular in the near future. As a coin has two sides, holidaying in space would have both positive and negative impacts.

One of the main advantages of space tourism when it gains popularity is that it gives its customers the most memorable experience in their life. To be precise, many holidaymakers would get varied responses about the destinations they visit. However, when they watch the whole world from the space, it would be the most thrilling travelling experience they ever had. Apart from the tourists, the tour operators are expected to extract a huge sum of money from this business. Reports suggest that multi-national companies have already signed contracts with space research organisations. As not many countries can host space tourism, economic growth is a promise in those operating countries.

Turning to the disadvantages, cost and energy are the primary concerns. To be clearer, as the expense of the travel is huge, only the affluent can be its customers. In short, except millionaires, not many could dream about such a holidaying. In addition, this would exhaust the host country’s energy reserve faster.  A single to and fro space travel is expected to burn of a considerable proportion of fuel reserve a country has, which could be used productively in other areas. Another expected drawback is the high risk the travel has. Although pre-preparations are given to those who intend to travel, and only physically and emotionally fit are allowed to travel, space travel is always haunted by the history of uncertainty.

To conclude, though the much awaited space tourism would fetch beyond the limit experiences and economic progress, it is expensive and vulnerable in nature.
