Health services are the basic necessity for a person. Private companies have make the health services quite costly for ordinary individuals. Do the advantages of private health care outweigh its disadvantages?

It is a fact that private companies have made the health services expensive for the common man. Being a basic necessity, this is a major drawback, however the health services which the private companies offer is far better than any other sector.

The most tangible advantage which the private companies offer is the superior health-care services. To be precise, the private sector hire the best doctors and paramedical staff to offer their customers the best possible service. Likewise, the equipment they use for the diagnosis and treatment of disease is technologically advanced and updated. Better infra-structure, collaborated services, superior patient relationship services are other exceptional services they offer. Apart from this, it covers a wider range of morbid population in the locality.

In addition to the superior health-care services, private companies avail productive medical insurance schemes, which deliver the financial services swifter. It also offers a higher sum of claim money even though the premium is relatively high. In case of health education, such as the establishments of medical colleges and nursing school and in case of medical research, private companies have a decisive upper hand over the others.

On the other hand, it is to be understood that the worst criticism against the private companies is the exorbitant cost which is normally less affordable for the ordinary people. However, as long as the state has not lost its control over these private companies, this situation can be addressed effectively.

To conclude, except the relatively higher cost incurred, private companies do offer a commendable service to its customers.
