The most notable developments in the field of modern entertainment industry can be directly attributed to the tremendous advancement of technology. The question whether the advent of more sophisticated technology in the field makes people less creative is becoming significant. However, it is difficult for me to align with this skepticism.
The cardinal reason why I think the statement is untrue is because of the way it assisted the talented to expose their creativity to the world. In other words, most of the popular artists today would have never become famous without the newer technology. For example, online singing platforms which are widely accepted by the modern generation have given birth to many singers, and have transformed their lives. Another positive aspect of the involvement of complex technologies in the entertainment field is that it gave artists and their creations a further boost in the industry. It has opened new ways to express their imagination, which was hardly possible in the past. For example, virtual reality offers people with immersive 3D experience and the introduction of virtual theme parks and VR music (Virtual reality music) should be seen as pertinent examples of innovative creations. Undoubtedly, one can expect more creativity in any fields of entertainment, no matter the types (music, games or movies).
However, there are some who think in an opposite way. I think this is because they do not acknowledge the fact that newer technologies can create more opportunities which can make people more creative.
After analyzing the matter in detail, I think creativity of a person is unique and when more modern technology is mixed with entertainment industry, it would definitely foster the creativity of an individual.
