It is common to see that poor concentration levels among school students. There are both external and internal factors behind this, and if each problem is addressed individually, the issue can be resolved.

Turning to the external factors, which are thought to be distracting school students, the worst is the poor performance of teachers. To be precise, many teachers of today are inexperienced and they fail to understand whether or not his student is concentrating well in the classrooms. Another such factor is the over-freedom to use the technological gadgets like smartphones and tablets. It has to be understood that these gadgets are inevitable at least at some point of time during the class, however their usage should is not usually limited.

Turning to the internal factors, a typical school student faces numerous psychological and physical stresses. Unlike the past, there are newer subjects added in the curriculum, and many children find inadequacies at least in a couple of subjects. Likewise, many students are weak these days: physically and emotionally. Experts suggest that academic performance is not only determined by intellectual capacity, but also how well they are overall healthy. There are also a considerable proportion of schoold students who suffer a greater degree of psychological stress.

When addressing these matters, teachers, parents and other responsible elders have almost an equal part in solving these issues. However, each has to identify their roles correctly and perform their best at the most appropriate time to make the result most effective. In addition, school children should be encouraged to be a part of the social activities rather than allowing them to seclude in their rooms. 

To conclude, it is clear that the modern school children have both internal and external problems which disrupt them from concentrating in their classes. However, if each of this problem is not addressed timely by the appropriate person, the issue would become worse.
