It is certain that technology has made some impressions in almost every aspect of human life. If analysed critically, there has been a giant leap in making relationships, however most of these are superficial in nature.

In the past, people had fewer opportunities to make relationships because most people concentrated in specific locations, doing their respective activities. However, it was inevitable for them to make strong relationships in between for a sustainable social environment. This was seen in the fields of agriculture, art and trade, the areas in which most people were engaged in. Weaker economies, frequent epidemics and unpredictable nature had made their lives miserable in those days.

With the advent of technology, both the life and relationships of people started improving. They started to travel more and contacted more number of people. Thanks to the advancements in transportation sector. Information technology has made man possible to contact a wider number of people at various destinations simultaneously at low cost. It has also made people more independent as they could do work by themselves, with less effort and fewer social dependence.

Despite this wider number of contacts and relationships when compared to those negligible numbers in the past, the quality of relationships started fading off and very often these relations seemed to be deceptive. When people started depending less on others around them, social relationships started to become fragile. Technology has also intruded into the privacy of people, which paved the way to the breakage of many family relationships.

To conclude, one can undoubtedly say that the impact technology has made in human relationships is huge, and is evident in every aspect of human life. As a coin has both sides, its influence in the relationships humans make evokes both positive and negative impacts.
