MODEL ANSWER:

It is the responsibility of a responsible government to allocate its fund to various sectors as per the existing demands. Keeping this in mind , I think, governments should focus more in developing a healthy body and mind than meeting the educational expense.

To begin, it is seen that today’s generation suffers both psychologically and physiologically irrespective of gender and age. The prime reason of this global phenomenon can be attributed to inadequate facilities for recreation , sports and related activities. For example, many schools and colleges lack adequate facilities of physical exertion and mental entertainment . This is not only seen there, but also seen at work and among those who stay indoors. This makes their life sedentary and elevates their stress level. Eventually, the productivity of those citizens would be of below average; even if they are highly educated. To be precise, though a person is well- qualified and if he faces either any life style diseases or an immense level of stress, the money spent by the government on his education is nearly futile. Finally, the doors of education are wide in this technologically advanced world, which is evidenced by the opportunities of numerous free online learning platforms.

However, this does not mean the fund allocation of the government should be restricted for education. As a vital area of concern, it should be adequately addressed and assisted by means of scholarships and stipends . Every government should remember it is the base in which a productive citizen can be molded.

To conclude, it is clear that the deteriorating life style of the current generation shows the relevance of spending more money on recreation and sports than spending on education.
