People have different opinions regarding ideal places to live. While some like to live in countryside, others like to live in urban areas. Both views have their own importance, and so a logical discussion is needed before framing my personal opinion.

On the one hand, those who think rural areas are the best places to live in have an opinion that these are areas of calm and peaceful atmosphere. For example, people can have fresh air to breathe and they can almost keep themselves away from most common diseases. Similarly, such people have access to organic cultivation, and as a result, they can lead a healthier lifestyle.Another reason why these people recommend this life is because of the less exposure to pollution, so that they can lead a life free of toxic pollutants.

On the other hand, the supporters of urban areas focus on the innumerable opportunities it offers. They highlight the advantages such as better career growth, health and education services and well- connected transport networks. Similarly, people of these areas, irrespective of age and gender, are availed with facilities for ample entertainment and recreation like cinemas, shopping malls, parks and clubs. They also highlight the faster life in cities, which helps people to engage in multiple activities and this is best suitable for today’s generation.

After analyzing both these views in detail, it is understood that both urban and rural areas have their own merits and demerits. I think choosing a better place to live depends on an individual’s attitude and preference.
