MODEL ANSWER:

It is believed that the way which a child is brought up by his parents determines his success in his adulthood. In my opinion, this is true to certain extent; however, I think there exist other key factors in a person’s successful adult life.

No one can deny the fact that parents are the first teachers of a child and act as a platform on which he can mould his personality. For example, a child learns the basics of language from his parents and copies their characteristics much before he starts socializing. The life style and experience of parents are the best examples for a child to copy in his life. One should also admit that in most cases, parents play a key role in supervising the actions of their children constantly and provide them with emotional support and motivation. These can be seen as cardinal factors behind most successful adults.

However, one should also admit the fact that there are other factors which determines a successful life of an adult. Of these, the first one is the hard work. If a child has a strong determination to become successful, and if he strives hard for it persistently, with full dedication, he is most likely to be a successful person in future. The second one is the social background. If a child’s social environment is well-developed, which includes both his contacts at school and neighborhood, he is more likely to be a successful person in future. Material factors such as wealth and physical circumstances in his family too play a significant role. For instance, one can see many unsuccessful people in the society who failed to achieve their professional objectives just because they had insufficient financial backup.

To conclude, I think a successful adult life can be attributed greatly to the way in which they are brought up. However, other factors such as hard work and socio-economic circumstances play their own roles in determining it.
