There exists an opinion that the activities of organizations which avail charity works should limit their operations in their own country, whereas others believe they should not set any boundaries in doing so. There are valid arguments on both sides, which have to be critically analysed before framing a logical conclusion.

The primary reason why the former group suggests a restricted operation is because they believe that charity begins at home. They believe the effectiveness of charity is the minimum in distant regions or countries when the progress of such activities is not transparent. In other words, it is easy to identify the most necessary charity works to be done with utmost significance when they are operated locally. For instance, when organising a charity programme for the domestic population, goals can be easily set and modifications can be periodically made with less amount of money, time and energy, which can be hardly possible when operated in another country.

Nevertheless, the latter group opposes the aforementioned operation because they believe that necessities should be given priority rather than geographical population. To be clearer, the demographic distribution is uneven and people are expected to face diverse social, economic, political and environmental issues at any time. If a country faces a natural fury such as an earthquake, a swift recovery is only possible when international charity organizations extend their help. They feel it is inhumane to turn your back from humanitarian concerns like extreme poverty and concentrate only on the local community.

After analysing both sides, I think the projection of the charity organizations should depend on the severity of the issue, whether it is inside or outside their own country.
