On the one hand, the reason why some people think newspapers are the best way to know the current events is because they believe that newspapers bring genuine news to people. To be precise, most newspapers have an editorial board, which cross-checks the news their reporters collect. The news editors first analyse the news very carefully, and confirm whether the news is genuine prior to sending it to for printing. In addition, a critical way of editing is done focusing on social and national interest before its publishing. On a whole, the news readers from this print media can make sure that they read the genuine news.
On the other hand, those who think the other way feel that media other than newspaper like television, internet and smartphones can bring news in a quicker way. To be clearer, instant news is updated on these media, with live pictures and videos, and this can make people think that they are moving along with the current status. In addition, the access to these media is relatively cheap and all the gadgets which display the news are portable in nature, which make it more customer-friendly. Overall, people are now much adapted to this technologically-advanced manner of information deliverance.
