In order to stay fit, some think the best way is to be a part of a gym, whereas others feel this can be accomplished by doing daily physical activities like walking and climbing stairs. In this present world, in which people have limited time, the first option appears to be more feasible.
The reason why the second group believes in routine physical activities is because they believe there is no additional time and cost involved in doing these. To be precise, unlike a health centre, these activities need no special interest, and almost everyone can do it very conveniently on a daily basis. For example, it is not a tough task to climb a five-storey office building or to walk 15 minutes to the work place. These physical activities can not only burn enough calories of a person, but also save the energy or fuel consumption by means of the use of escalator or a private car.
On the other hand, the proponents of gyms and health clubs highlight that exercises are scientific, and should be done in a systematic manner under specialized trainers. They explain that a person should know the amount of energy he requires per day, and based on the exercises he do, he needs to make adjustments in the calorie requirements. For instance, if a person finds his weight above the desired level, he can seek help from his personal trainer and get expert advice to cut it down.
In my opinion, people of today have very less time to spend on doing exercises, and a systematic physical exertion is needed for them which fit into their time, and this makes gyms more popular.
After analyzing both views in detail, though daily activities can keep a person physically fit to an extent, it is better for everyone to train in a health club under experts as this may lay a firm foundation in their future health maintenance.
