While some prefer to build their muscles in a gym or a health club, others feel keeping themselves physically active everyday by activities like walking and climbing stairs is good enough. Both these views have their own gravity, and hence a detailed discussion is needed before framing a logical conclusion.

On the one hand, those who prefer to join a health club think that it is the most scientifically acceptable way to keep a person in good shape. They believe so because they find trained or qualified physical instructors there, with advanced body building techniques. Advice regarding the diet, type and duration of exercise, and many more added features are there in a gym. On top of that, the members can practice in a secure environment with the technically advanced gym equipment. All these features make people think that within a specific span of time, a person can shape his body to almost a similar way he desires.

On the other hand, others recommend people to be healthy by engaging in day to day activities, which are physically demanding such as a long distance walk. This is because they believe that these actions can be done flexibly, as per the convenience of the person. For example, for a working professional, it is hard to maintain the strict timings and strenuous exercise regimen at a health club. Many people are seen socializing better and maintain a healthy relationships when they walk with their friends or colleagues. It can be also seen that these activities are risk-free, as there are instances reported regarding faulty gym training.

After analysing both these views in detail, though gyms can ensure faster results to most of the people, I think, in this busy life, the second option is feasible for modern man.
