The bar chart below demonstrates the various types of accommodation chosen by the British when they went on holiday in 2010. Summarize the facts by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The differences in the holiday accommodation option in four provinces in the UK in 2010 are depicted in the given bar chart.
As per the chart, most British people who went holidays in 2010 chose a hotel to stay and this was more in England, where around 55% did so. In Scotland and Wales, it was around 50% who chose this option, whereas in Northern Ireland , it was about 45%.
On an average, self-catering was the second option among the British after hotel, when 28 to 30% preferred this. However, the residents of Northern Island chose this only after Caravan. In Northern Island ,exactly 30% chose caravan holidays, while this was just 11% in case of self-catering. In all the other three provinces, caravan holidays were preferred less (5-12%).
Camping was generally the lesser common choice among the British in all the four provinces. In Scotland, it was the least (5%),whereas in Wales, it was the most(14%).
Overall, it is clear, hotels were the most popular option in all the provinces, whereas the preference to other options varied.
