MODEL ANSWER:

Statistical information on how often the American population ate at fast food restaurants in 2003, 2006 and 2013 is depicted in the given bar chart.

Overall, it is clear that the residents of the USA were frequent visitors to fast food outlets during this period.

A significant proportion visited these outlets at least once a month. Of this, when the rate of daily visitors got declined in later years, fluctuations were there in case of the other three categories. The rate of daily visitors was higher in 2003 at around 4, whereas in case of weekly visitors, this was higher in 2006, at around 20 and 33 respectively (several times and once a week). However, in case of those whose went to these outlets once or twice a month was more in 2013 (around 33%).

An equal proportion of Americans ate at these restaurants occasionally (a few times a year) in both 2006 and 2013 (15%, which was almost 2% higher than that in 2003). The trend was almost opposite in case of those who refrained completely from these places. Compared to 2003, the influx of people to fast food restaurants was more in later years.
