Various steps involved in the recycling of paper are portrayed in the given flowchart.

Overall, it is clear that the process includes six major steps which starts from the collection of waste paper and ends with the making of recycled paper.

In the first step of the process, used paper is collected from various businesses and public paper banks. The collected paper is sorted by hand, and while doing this, unsuitable paper is separated and removed.  Only the paper which is graded as good for recycling is then transported to the paper mill.

At the paper mill, the first step is cleaning. This involves the removal of impurities like staples and pulping. Once the paper is made to pulp, it is sent for the process of de-inking. In the final step, the recycled paper is made from the de-inked pulp using the paper making machine.
