The budget comparison of the town of Greensboro between this year and last year, along with its projection in the next year is depicted in the given pie charts.

Overall, it is clear that the budget share of the town towards schools and salaries shows a positive trend when compared to the allocation of funds in the other two areas.

It is clear from the chart that the town spent an equal portion of its budget on schools and salaries last year. When this accounted for 30% each from the total share, spending on roads took up 25% of the budget. The least (15%) went to parks and recreation. The share of schools’ spending increased by 5% this year. When the salary share remained the same at 30% of the total, the share of roads fell by 5%.

The town is expected to allocate further more to schools in the next year. When this would go up to two-fifth of the total, the share of salaries too would climb by 5%. The share of spending on roads is projected to be the same as this year, but the disbursement of funds to parks and recreation would shrink drastically to just 5%.
