Information on the two genres of TV programmes that Australians watch divided by age and gender is depicted in the given charts.

Overall, it is clear that game shows are slightly more popular than reality shows and the most viewers fall in the oldest category. There is also a difference in the percentage of viewers based on  gender.

Turning to the classification based on gender, the rate of males who watched game shows is seen slightly higher than the rate of females who watches it. When it accounts for nearly 60, in case of females, it is just 2 to 3% less. However, when it comes to the reality shows, the female proportion (70%) is almost double that that of the male proportion.

In case of reality shows, as the age increases, the proportion of viewers too increases. This ranges from nearly 50% in the youngest group (16-24) to just over 65% in the oldest age group (45+). In case of games shows too, the most number of viewers are from the 45+ age group (approximately 70%). When fewer people from the age group 25 to 44 watch it, the rate of the youngest group who viewed it is nearly 50%.
