Various steps involved in the recycling plastic bottles are sequenced in this process diagram.

Overall, it is clear that the process begins with the segregation of waste bottles and ends with the production of recycled plastic products.

As shown in the picture, in the first step, plastic bottles are collected in garbage bins placed in different locations. Once these bins are full, these are carried by trucks to the recycling factory.

At the factory, the used bottles are sorted manually, and recyclable ones are sent to the compressing chamber, where these are compressed into large cubes. In the subsequent step, these cubes are crushed to smaller particles, and then washed thoroughly. Once the impurities are removed from the small plastic particles, these are introduced into a machine in order to produce smaller plastic pellets.

The last two steps before the ultimate step (production of recycled products) are crucial, and these are heating the pellets to make the raw material and converting the raw materials to desired products like bottles, boxes, carry bags and shirts.
